If I had an Unlimited Amount of Money...

As I was walking around a store today, I thought to myself, "If only I had an unlimited amount of money..." My intention was to finish the sentence with "...I could spend a fortune in here!"  However, I started actually thinking about what I would do with an unlimited amount of money.

I decided that I would open orphanages.  I would take the Gospel where it's never been.  I would cover the bills of ministries and organizations already out there rescuing kids the way I want to.  Then, I realized if the money was truly unlimited, I'd never reach the end.  So my list went on: I'd buy a huge house with so much character it would blow my mind.  I'd have tons of land, with a pond.  I would have multiple vehicles (a Jeep Wrangler, Nisan Xterra, and Mustang to name a few) and I could buy everything I saw in stores that I wanted and never have to wait for sales.  How exciting life would be!

Unfortunately, I do not have an unlimited amount of money.  I have to budget money, and plan.  I have to keep myself from buying things so I can go on trips that I want to go on.  I left the store empty handed today.  I began to think about upcoming opportunities that I have.  I thought about how much more exciting it is to go change lives than it would be to have another decoration sitting around my house.  See, I wasn't born to have a fancy house; I was born to change the world.  To reach that goal, I have to not buy some things in order to get other things.  In short: I have to make sacrifices.  By keeping my goals and dream in mind, the sacrifices are very much worth it.  You don't have an unlimited amount of money either; so I ask you: What are you sacrificing for?

P.S. If you do have an unlimited supply of money, make checks payable to Jeremy Vestal and email me for my mailing address!!! :)
