Happy Fall!
I have been home since Wednesday night and have had an awesome couple days of family time. It's so nice to get to be in my house, in my bed, in my room, with my parents, brother and yes, my dog! I've gotten to see some friends and just generally enjoyed Virginia. I was excited to get to go fourwheeling; it's a way of escape for me, a way to get away and think..or not. The land I get to fourwheel on is stunningly beautiful and I love to be there.
Virginia is ahead of Tennessee in leaf color changing--it looks a lot more like Fall here than it does in Cleveland, but we are catching up. It also gets darker in Virginia earlier. I hope you are taking advantage of the season change around you (wherever that may be) .
Wednesday I drove in the rain the whole way. At one point in the drive, there were 3 distinct shades of clouds ahead of me, and then one random patch of sun (that I never did get to drive through). Anyway, the phrase "Position yourself" came to mind. I feel that there is something happening in this season that we must position ourselves for--maybe that means physically, maybe it means spiritually. Whatever it means I am excited for it and positioning myself. I want to be right in the middle of what's happening. I don't want to be off in some random dry place, or anywhere but in the center of the move of God that is occurring.
I thought about doing a video blog overlooking a pond that I fourwheel by. It's such an awesome view and it makes me want a pond on the land I own one day. But--I look kinda rough when fourwheeling: wind blown hair, and in the fall: multiple jackets and warm pants (and I typically don't match). So, I figured it'd be better to just share a picture with you. Seriously, enjoy what is going on around you. Enjoy this moment you have been given. Enjoy the beauty of nature around you. Learn to lean on the Creator, and find yourself right in the middle of what He's doing in the Earth!
(I added 2 more pictures from my fourwheeling adventures. hope you enjoyed them!)
